Beyond High School: Strategies for Non-Traditional Students

 Many special education students are not college bound.  This video explores opportunities and offers advice to that population in an encouraging way.  A recent HS graduate gets a certificate in culinary arts as she pursues her dream of a catering career. A boy who never felt comfortable in the classroom thrives as an apprentice brick-layer. Two teens with learning disabilities talk about a college program designed specifically for students like them.

The video expands on each of these examples to explore similar options nationwide. It tells where to find information, what questions to ask, and clearly demonstrates that there are different avenues to a successful and rewarding life after high school.
